The Paradigm of Time

There is never enough time. At least, that’s the story many of us repeat.

The days move fast. Meetings stack. Notifications interrupt. The list keeps growing.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, “I don’t have time” becomes the explanation — for the things we postpone, the conversations we delay, the steps we hesitate to take.

But what if the real shift isn’t about finding more hours? What if it’s about changing our relationship with the ones we already have?

This week’s Catalyst Mindset explores what I’ve been reflecting on lately — that time scarcity is not always about the clock. Sometimes it’s about discomfort. Sometimes it’s about clarity. Sometimes it’s about alignment.

And sometimes, it’s about remembering that we have more agency inside our days than we think.

Because the hours stay the same. The paradigm shifts when we do.

If you’ve got a minute... it’s about time we talk about time.

From Intention to Strategy: Rethinking self-advocacy

Self-advocacy is hard.

It’s one of those skills many people know matters — and still struggle with quietly.

And I get it. As an introvert, advocating for myself has never felt natural. It’s something I’ve had to learn — and continue to relearn and evolve.

What I’ve come to see is that self-advocacy isn’t a single behavior or conversation. It’s a skill we exercise across multiple areas of our professional lives — and one that becomes far more effective when approached with intention and strategy.

It shows up in how we shape our narrative. In how we protect our capacity. In how we ask for support, pursue growth, build alliances, and honor our value.

When we don’t see those dimensions clearly, self-advocacy can feel inconsistent. When we do, it becomes more intentional, more strategic, and more aligned with who we are.

This week's Catalyst is an invitation to rethink self-advocacy — not as something we do occasionally, but as a practice we choose daily, across six dimensions that shape the many ways we show up, lead, and grow.

Because self-advocacy lives in the choice to stop leaving our worth to chance.

THE RIPPLE EFFECT OF POSITIVE THINKING

For quite some time now, many days have felt like an emotional rollercoaster.

Uncertainty is everywhere. The pace of change is relentless. And it’s no surprise that negative thoughts—what ifs, fears, worst-case scenarios—can start to influence how people are showing up, reacting, and leading.

I see it around me.
And I feel it too.

The challenge is that when those thoughts take over, they don’t stay contained. They shape our tone, our presence, and the energy we bring into the spaces we lead.

And yet, this is where I remain deeply hopeful.
Because we still have agency.
We still get to choose which thoughts we lead with.

Positive thinking, when intentional, isn’t about pretending things are easy.
It’s about choosing a lens that steadies us, opens perspective, and allows us to lead with care and clarity—even when the moment is complex.

Because how we think doesn’t just shape our own experience.
It shapes the experience of everyone around us.

And that choice—to lead with intention and hope—is one I will keep making.

THE QUITE POWER OF THE WORDS WE CHOOSE

Words are powerful.

And every year, choosing a word has become more than a ritual for me. It’s a moment of intention. A pause to notice what’s already true… and what’s asking to grow.

Some words stay with us for years. They shape how we lead, how we decide, how we show up. Others arrive when it’s time to stretch—to move beyond what’s familiar and step into something more.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the difference.

On the words that have become part of who we are… and the ones that are meant to guide us forward.

I’ve realized the key isn’t choosing the “right” word.

It’s understanding the role that word is meant to play.

💫Is it grounding you?

💫Defining you?

💫Or quietly asking you to step forward?

Because the words we choose don’t just describe a year.

They shape how we show up within it.

I’m curious…

🌟What words will shape your 2026?

THE CATALYST MINDSET

Welcome, 2026 — and with it, a new way to approach what’s ahead.

A new year often invites us to think about goals, plans, and everything we want to accomplish. But this year, I’m paying more attention to how I want to move through it. How I engage with challenges. How I respond to pressure. How I create momentum without forcing it.

I’m calling this a Catalyst Mindset — a way of approaching life and leadership with curiosity rather than resistance, intention rather than reaction, and trust rather than force.

Because when we change how we engage with what’s in front of us, we change what becomes possible.

I hope you join me on this journey...
